Keep the original address and item identifier whenever possible. Label every saved link by page type, record the exact option and checked date, and write one line for “shows” and one for “does not show.” Remove or hold any row whose destination no longer matches its identity.
Five link types should not share one label
| Link type | What it can show | What it does not prove |
|---|---|---|
| Directory or search link | A group of current results for a category or query. | That every result matches your need or has been reviewed. |
| Product or marketplace link | A current listing, options, displayed price and seller-provided details. | Quality, stock continuity, seller reliability or future delivery. |
| Album or reference link | Images, naming context and sometimes contact or catalog organization. | That the exact pictured item is available or identical to another listing. |
| Converted or share link | A route into another interface using supplied source information. | That the conversion preserved every option or that the service verified the item. |
| QC or warehouse-photo link | Visible details of a photographed item at a particular time. | Fit, hidden construction, long-term condition or another buyer’s exact item. |
Choose the link that matches the job
Most link problems begin when a search page, album and product listing are saved under the same vague label. Before opening another interface, keep the starting address, item identifier, intended option and date checked.
| What you are trying to do | What to keep |
|---|---|
| Return to the original listing later | Save the least-altered address and the visible item identifier. |
| Open a source link in another interface | Keep the original address, then compare the title, item ID and exact option after the new page opens. |
| Review an image album | Use the photos for visible detail only; do not assume they confirm current stock or transaction support. |
| Check a marketplace listing | Read the current options and seller-provided information on that page, then record what you actually saw. |
| Ask about an order or account | Use the official service connected to your own transaction, not a directory or saved product link. |
Write “shows” and “does not show” beside important links
Product page note
- Shows: black option, size range, current displayed price and item ID.
- Does not show: packed weight, independent material verification or future stock.
QC page note
- Shows: visible stitching, color and photographed packaging.
- Does not show: measurement method, hidden parts or whether your future item will match.
This habit prevents evidence from travelling farther than the page allows. It also makes contradictory pages easier to recognize.
The five-part link integrity check
- Identity: Does the title, category or item ID match the saved row?
- Option: Is the color, size, version or bundle the same one you intended to compare?
- Page type: Are you on a listing, album, QC page, search result or service wrapper?
- Source trail: Can you still identify the original address or item identifier?
- Freshness: When did you check the page, and what current details were actually visible?
Before trusting a converted or pasted link
Save four pieces of information before conversion: the untouched address, the visible item identifier, the exact option and the date checked. After the new page opens, compare those four details rather than relying on a similar image.
- The destination still describes the same product type.
- The item identifier is preserved or can be reconciled.
- The intended option exists and has not silently changed.
- Displayed price or availability differences are treated as current page information, not conversion proof.
- No unexpected login, download or payment step is required merely to confirm identity.
A converter is a routing tool. It cannot authenticate materials, seller conduct, stock or service quality.
What to do when the page changes
The destination is gone
Mark the row as unavailable on the checked date. Keep the item identifier for reference, but do not replace the missing page with a guessed route.
The page now shows another item
Treat this as an identity failure. Remove the row from active comparison and keep a short note describing the mismatch.
The page requires sign-in
Do not infer what is behind the gate. Use the information you can verify safely, or hold the row until the relevant service provides an official access route.
The page redirects through several services
Record the final visible domain and compare the item identity with the original. A redirect chain is not automatically unsafe, but unexplained changes deserve a stop rather than a forced match.
The minimum useful source note
Page type: product listing · Original address: saved · Item ID: recorded · Option: black / medium · Checked: 25 Aug 2026 · Shows: garment chart and front/back images · Does not show: packed weight or fabric test.
That single note is more useful than calling the row “verified.” It states the scope and leaves uncertainty visible.
Use the right place for the right question
Use Baohero and Findsindex for discovery and comparison. Use the current source page for listing details. Use relevant official service support for account, order, payment and shipping questions. A guide or directory should never be treated as the operator of an external transaction.
